TAKE ACTION FOR THE PLANET!

Sport, music, gastronomy… these are the new MadBlue experiences that take over the city of Madrid, making you the protagonist of the action. At MadBlue we want to generate commitment, create strong emotional links between the community and our environment and bring sustainable development closer to all citizens, especially young people and families.

To do that, we have designed a calendar of activities that will not leave you indifferent: learn, enjoy and act for the planet!

Run for the Earth

The charity race where what really matters is to participate… because you will be doing it for the planet!

It will take place in the Tierno Galván Park in Madrid on May 1st. You will be able to choose between two modalities –5K or 10K– and with your number, you will receive a commemorative windbreaker.

Part of the ticketing will be donated to environmental actions for sustainable development through the Piel de Atún foundation.

CLOSING PARTY WITH DJ NANO

DJ NANO will be with us this Saturday 30th April in the Tierno Galván Park to close a spectacular day. Admission is free so capacity is limited, come with time and enjoy everything we have prepared for you!

THE BEST PLANS FOR THE HOLYDAY WEEKEND OF MAY IN MADRID

Madblue lands in Parque Tierno Galván on 30 April and 1 May in a weekend for the Planet.

LIVE COOKING & FRIENDS CURATED BY BRANDELICIOUS

We are what we eat, and how we eat has a significant impact on the planet’s sustainable development. The from 12: 00 on Saturday 30th April in Tierno Galván Park until Sunday 1st May, thanks to our sponsor Estrella Damm you will have the opportunity to hear directly from some of the most renowned chefs of the moment such as Roberto Ruíz, chef of Pacífico MX, Iván Morales and Álvaro Castellanos, from Grupo Arzábal, Rafa Zafra chef of Estimar and Casa Jondal and Fernando Villasclaras chef of El Lago and Javier Brichetto, from Piantao, Pepa Muñoz from El Cüenco de Pepa.

In a show-cooking and talk format, chefs and producers will explain the preparation of dishes that tell their own stories. A show of dissemination and awareness-raising demonstrates that another way of doing things is possible.

MUSIC LOCAL HEROS BY CAPTCHA FAMILY

On Saturday, 30 April, in Tierno Galván park, we will have a music show curated by Captcha Family, who will also broadcast in streaming through their platform. The programme, which will run throughout the day, will focus on local heroes and emerging and established talent in artists with valuable proposals that stand out from the mainstream.

A 100% Km0 musical proposal, plural, diverse and designed for all audiences.

GASTRO & ECO MARKET BY ESTRELLA DAMM

Alongside our sponsor Estrella Damm we have created a sustainable market with a representation of artisans and local producers in collaboration with the Planetary Producers Market, which for years has been held on the first and third Sunday of the month in front of the IMAX cinema in the park itself. There will also be a varied gastronomic offer, where you can enjoy a variety of foods and preparations that include local, organic and seasonal products.

Through this initiative, we want to give visibility to the most conscious producers and artisans, becoming a loudspeaker for their strategies on sustainability to improve production processes, as well as transmitting the need to change consumption habits individually and collectively.

EXPERIENCES IN NATURE

CLEAN RIVERS SAVE OCEANS

The oceans are a source of life, and we have decided to give it back to them with more than 150 volunteers who will join us in this initiative by Biotherm. Alongside them is the ECOALF Foundation, and in collaboration with the NGO Libera, which aims to collect as much waste as possible from the Jarama River on 23 April.

Do you want to take part? It’s time to act and to do it with enthusiasm because the oceans start with you!

REFORESTATION PROJECT

Taking care of trees is giving the Planet a break. We want to raise awareness of the importance of forests as a natural shield against climate change by joining this initiative sponsored by DKV as part of its “Planet Health” strategy, which aims to plant 1 million trees by 2030.

The project will be carried out by Reforest Project and more than 600 trees will be planted with the goal of extending green areas and reducing CO2 in the city of Madrid.
