MadBlue is projected as the event of reference in innovation, science and culture towards sustainable development, which takes place every spring in Madrid.
Our starting point is the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and our primary focus is the citizenry, whom we place at the centre of the action through learning and awareness as fundamental values to create a more sustainable world.
We seek to boost the economy of the regions through sustainable development, bringing together companies that are at the forefront of innovation, startups with disruptive solutions, artists and committed professionals to launch new forms of circular and green economy and investments in new technologies.
All united in a common commitment: to answer the call of the Planet.
MADBLUE ANSWERS THE PLANET’S CALL
Climate change is a reality and global warming is causing radical changes that threaten irreversible consequences for the planet if we don’t act now.
The oceans are the source of life for the Earth, absorbing around 30% of the CO2 we produce, but marine pollution is reaching alarming levels. And without oceans there is no life.
From MadBlue we want to launch an emergency call, and we do it by adopting as a symbol the morse code that represents the famous “S.O.S” to raise awareness and take action.
